Hyderabad: Vritti Agarwal of Osmania University clocked 18:01.04 to clinch gold in the 1500m freestyle event of the All India Inter-University Swimming and Diving Championship at SRM University in Chennai.

Shirin of Visvesvaraya Technological University (18:10.97) and Ashmitha Chandra of Jain University (Bengaluru) with 18:24.11 settled for silver and bronze respectively.
