Hanamkonda: Warangal Commissioner of Police Sunpreet Singh has issued externment orders restricting rowdy sheeter Vanchangiri Suresh alias Kothi Suresh of Mills Colony from entering the Warangal police commissionerate limits.
It is for the first time that expulsion orders for six months have been issued against a rowdy sheeter in the police commissionerate limits. Suresh was externed under Section 26 (1) of the Hyderabad City Police Act, 1348 Fasli (Warangal Metropolitan Area Police Act, 2015).
Mills Colony Inspector Ramesh and SI Mithun handed over the orders to Suresh at the Warangal police commissionerate borders. Several criminal cases were registered against Suresh, who has been disrupting law and order and creating fear and anxiety among the public.
Due to his illegal activities, people were even afraid to file complaints. In this context, a show-cause notice was issued to him, but he failed to appear before the concerned authorities. As no written explanation was provided, it was concluded that his conduct posed a threat to public peace.
Therefore, in the interest of public welfare, orders were issued directing Suresh to immediately leave the Warangal police commissionerate limits for a period of six months. He will be permitted to enter the commissionerate only with prior permission for court appearances.
Warangal CP Singh appealed to the public to provide information on crimes without fear and assured that strict action would be taken against those who disrupt law and order within the commissionerate limits.
