Warangal Urban: CPI state secretariat committee member Thakkallapalli Srinivasa Rao  has condemned the Rythu  Deekshas organised by the BJP leaders across Telangana on Monday.

In a press release here, Rao said the BJP, which had brought three farm laws against the interests of farmers, had no moral right to do Deekshas in favour of the farmers. “The BJP government at the Centre enacted the farm laws under the control of the corporate powers. The BJP has mocked the agitation of the farmers in the national capital. But the very same BJP leaders are trying to cheat the farmers in the name of Deekshas,” he said, and appealed to the people to take note of the fake Deekshas of the BJP demanding the State government to purchase the farm produce.

“If the BJP leaders really care for the farmers so much, they should make efforts to reduce the inflated prices of seeds, pesticides  and fertilizers,” he said, adding that the BJP government was adopting anti-people policies.
