Warangal: Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao and his wife Usha have participated in the celestial wedding ceremonies of Lord Rama and his consort Sita held at several temples in Palakurthy constituency in the erstwhile Warangal district on Sunday.
During his visit to Valmdi Sita Ramachandra Swamy temple, which is the most famous place after Bhadrachalam temple in Telangana, he said that the State government was taking steps to develop the temple by allocating crores of rupees to it under the tourism circuit. He has also inaugurated high mast lights at the village. He has also participated in Sri Sitarama Swamy Kalyana Mahotsavam held at Patimidi Gudi, Dubba Thanda, Thorrur Aryavaishya Sangam, Vivekananda Association and Teachers Colony.
In Palakurthy town, Minister Errabelli and his wife performed special pujas at the Kallyanam of Sitaramachandra Swamy at the Anjaneya Swamy Temple at Palakurthy town. Meanwhile, the Minister has inaugurated the newly established Medi Care Hospital in Thorrur.
