Warangal: English Language Teachers’ Association of India (ELTAI) has honoured Assistant Professor of English, Dr Mallam Naveen with the National Best Teacher Award on the occasion of Teachers’ Day on Sunday.

During its 67th webinar conducted on Sunday, Dr Naveen working at Government Degree College (GDC), Parkal of Hanamakonda district, was felicitated by the ETAI with the award in recognition of his services as a teacher for the last 19 years.

Dr Mallam Naveen was also honoured with the Best Teacher Award by the Telangana State government in 2019. Dr Mallam has 10 papers published in journals of national and international repute besides being a course writer for the text books prescribed for the undergraduate students of Kakatiya University (KU), Warangal, and Satavahana University (SU), Karimnagar. Dr Mallam attended and presented 49 Research Papers in various International and National Conferences. Faculty members from the University and Degree Colleges have congratulated Dr Mallam on the occasion.
