Warangal: Errabelli inspects lands for constructing integrated markets
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had directed the authorities to immediately identify suitable sites for setting up of integrated vegetable and meat markets in at least five places in Warangal

Warangal Urban: Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Government Chief Whip Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar inspected several sites for the proposed integrated vegetable and meat markets under Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) limits here on Sunday.
They have visited the site adjacent to the Roads and Buildings Department office at Hanmakonda, the old Irrigation Office campus at Nakkalagagutta and the site near Warangal government polytechnic college and another site near the Animal Husbandry Department office.
Speaking on the occasion, Rao said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had directed the authorities to immediately identify suitable sites for setting up of integrated vegetable and meat markets in at least five places in the city to cater to the needs of the local people. There is a need for at least five acres of land for setting up the model integrated market on the lines of the Gajwel market.
“The State government also sanctioned Rs 24 crore for setting up the integrated market at Lakhmipuram in Warangal,” he said and directed the officials to prepare the detailed project report (DPR) at the earliest and take up the construction works.
In addition to this, sites at Kazipet Old Market and the land at Chintagattu SRSP canal also are under consideration for setting up four more integrated vegetable and meat markets. District Collector and GWMC Special Officer Rajeev Gandhi Hanumanthu, R&B, and GWMC officials accompanied the Minister and the Government Chief Whip.
