Warangal: A man died by suicide after jumping in front of a train while live-streaming the act to his wife during a video call near Kazipet railway station in the district.
According to the police and locals, the deceased, Rajesh Naik (45), who worked as a document writer at the Warangal district registrar’s office, had property disputes and disagreements with his family. As the issue remained unresolved, frequent quarrels took place within the household.
A heated argument reportedly broke out between Rajesh and his wife on Sunday night over the property dispute. He left home and made a video call to his wife on his smartphone, informing her that he was about to take his life. He then jumped in front of an approaching train.
Upon receiving the information, the Government Railway Police (GRP), along with the family members, searched for the body, which was found on the railway tracks near Kazipet railway station on Monday morning. The police registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
