Warangal Urban: Mayor Gundu Sudha Rani had made an appeal to the employees of Municipal Corporation, particularly the staff working in risk zones, to take the vaccine jab without any apprehensions.

Addressing an awareness programme on the need to get vaccinated here on Thursday, she said that a total of 1.20 lakh persons had been given vaccine under the potential spreaders programme under the GWMC limits so far.

The GWMC is providing vaccines to all the employees in a phased manner, she added.

“While there 1.60 lakh members in Self-Help Groups (SHGs), 50,000 of them have been vaccinated so far in 11 special centres set up for them,” Sudha Rani said.
