Warangal: Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering(MED), Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal (KITSW), P Satya Srinivasa Murthy was awarded PhD degree by the JNTUK University, Kakinada.

In a press note here on Sunday, KITSW Principal Prof K Ashoka Reddy said that P Satya Srinivasa Murthy had submitted his PhD thesis titled “Analysis and Optimization of Mass Distribution of links for Balancing of shaking effects in a Spatial Mechanism” after doing his research work under the combined supervision of Prof A Satya Devi, GITAM, Hyderabad, and Prof A Gopala Krishna of the JNTUK University Kakinada, AP.

“PSS Murthy has done research on Spatial mechanisms that have a wide range of applications like robotics, satellite design and deployment, nuclear power plants, aerospace industry, rehabilitation medical field, prosthetic hand, refugees housing, and military shelter structures. He has investigated the solution for achieving minimum shaking force and shaking moment to reduce the Vibration with suitable mass distribution by optimization applying multi-objective genetic algorithms using MATLAB software,” Prof Ashoka Reddy said.

KITSW Secretary and Correspondent V Lakshmikantha Rao, Deans, faculty members including Associate Professor of Chemistry and PRO Dr D Prabhakara Chary have congratulated PSS Murthy on being awarded the PhD degree.
