Warangal: The long cherished dream of the people of Rayaparthy, Parvathagiri and Wardhannapet mandals will be realised soon with the sanction of Rs 10.43 crore for the construction of a bridge across the Aakeru rivulet and a road for 5.23 km in the Warangal Rural district. The road passes through Kothur of Rayaparthy mandal to Aakeru rivulet via Lyabarthy cross roads, Rollakal and Kalleda villages. Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao said that he had sanctioned Rs 10.43 crore under the PMGSY scheme. “While Rs 4.47 crore meant for the road construction, Rs 5.96 crore will be used for the construction of the bridge,” he said and directed the officials to finish the tenders and take up the works at the earliest.
