Warangal: Task Force police team led by Inspector Ch Srinivas Ji had apprehended seven persons while they were playing cards at Happy Tiffin centre at Venu Rao colony under the limits of Matwada police station, and seized Rs 11,980 cash and five cell phones from their possession on Thursday.
“On receiving credible information about gaming, the Task Force team raided the tiffin centre and apprehended the gamblers. They were handed over along with seized property to Matwada PS for further action,” Srinivas Ji added. The accused are Sriramulu Suresh Kumar and six others of Kareemabad and other localities in Warangal city.
