Warangal: Three including teacher killed as car crashes into SRSP canal

The deceased were identified as Renuka, a government teacher working at Gunturpally village of Parthagiri village, Sridhar, a businessman, and an employee of his company.

Warangal Rural: Three persons including a woman teacher were killed when the car in which they were travelling crashed into a canal of the SRSP on the outskirts of Konkapaka village in Parvathagiri mandal in the district on Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Renuka, a government teacher working at Gunturpally village of Parthagiri village, Sridhar, a businessman, and an employee of his company.


According to police sources, Sridhar was driving the car when the mishap occurred, and Renuka and the driver were sitting in the back seat. The driver swam to the shore, while Renuka and the others succumbed to injuries.

Two bodies, including that of Renuka, have been retrieved while Sridhar’s body was trapped in the car. Parvathagiri police were trying to lift the car from the canal. The bodies were shifted to Warangal MGM.
