A cash award of Rs 1,116 to each of the 27 selected best stories will be given
Warangal Urban: The English Language Teachers’ Association (ELTA), Warangal Urban, in association with Vandemataram Foundation will conduct a national-level story telling competition to the students on the occasion of Children’s Day with a view to publish a ‘bilingual E- book of stories’, said Sampath Kumar, General Secretary, ELTA. In a press note, he said that the participants should make a video reciting their favourite stories either in Telugu, Hindi or English in not more than two minutes and make a soft copy of the story in MS Word file in the chosen language.
“Then they should translate their story into another language i.e, in Telugu, Hindi or English. Here the students need to make a soft copy of the translated story in MS Word file. The story should not be more than 300 words and the two videos and two scripts (the original and the translated) should be sent to the organisers through WhatsApp.

In the sub-juniors category, participants in classes 4 and 5 should send their scripts to N Kavitha (Telugu) on WhatsApp number 9989925030, Md Ifthekar Ali (Hindi) on 8978697289. In the junior category, students of class 6 and 7 should send their scripts to M Roja (9133312813), Sk Gouse Pasha (Hindi) 9618717939. In the senior category, students of classes 8,9,10 should send their scripts and videos to Dr Ravi Kumar Kola (Telugu) on 9949108501, Md Sharfuddin (Hindi) on 8341442636.
A cash award of Rs 1,116 to each of the 27 selected best stories will be given. The participants are expected to furnish details like name, class, name of the school and address along with their WhatsApp numbers in Google forms which can be accessed on http://bit.ly/2FSNeCn.
