Warangal Vasavi Club donates masks, sanitisers to KU security staff

Warangal Urban: With the number of Covid-19 cases on the rise again, there is a need to adhere to the Covid-19 norms strictly to check the spread of the pandemic including wearing masks and sanitising hands regularly, said Kakatiya University (KU) Registrar Prof K Purushotam. He appreciated the Vasavi Club of Warangal and its president Vallala Pruthviraj for donating the masks, sanitisers and soaps to the security staff working at the varsity.
At a programme organised at KU administrative building here on Friday afternoon, the Vasavi Club members have donated items worth Rs 20,000. Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Registrar, KU, Vallala Pruthviraj said that the Vasavi Club had been organising several service activities in Warangal for the past several years. “The items handed over to the security staff can remain for 45 days,” he added.
