A 60-year-old woman, Suraram Sujatha, reportedly died of a heart attack while celebrating Saddula Bathukamma at Enumamula Kotacheruvu in Warangal district on Sunday. She collapsed during the festivities and died while undergoing treatment at MGM Hospital, according to reports.

Warangal: A woman reportedly died of a heart attack while celebrating Bathukamma at Enumamula market area in the district on Sunday.

According to the locals, the deceased, Suraram Sujatha (60) of Reddypalem village of Geesukonda mandal in the district went to Enumamula Kotacheruvu with Bathukamma on the occasion of Saddula Bathukamma on Sunday evening.

While playing Bathukamma with local women, she suddenly collapsed. She was rushed to MGM Hospital and died while receiving treatment. Doctors have confirmed that she died of a heart attack. The incident caused a pall of gloom to descend on Reddypalem.
