Warangal: Unemployed youth in erstwhile Warangal have organised celebrations over Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s statement in Assembly about the State government taking up a massive recruitment drive.
TRS cadres and unemployed youth across the district have taken out rallies, burst crackers and shared sweets celebrating the key announcement made in the Assembly by the Chief Minister that a total of 91,142 vacant government jobs in different departments would be filled up.
It helps the young people who have completed their studies and were waiting for government jobs, said TRS leader Dr B Veerender of Kakatiya University (KU). They hailed the government decision to regularise 11,103 contract employees.
Narsampet TRS Urban Youth Committee has taken out a bike rally from Telangana Martyrs’ Memorial to the Ambedkar Centre in the town. They expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and Narsampet MLA Paddi Sudarshan Reddy for such a large scale job drive.
