Warangal:Business units for Dalit Bandhu beneficiaries

Warangal: Hanamkonda District Collector Rajeev Gandhi Hanumanthu said the grounding of three business units had been completed under the Dalit Bandhu scheme in Kamalapur mandal of Hanamkonda district.
In a statement here on Wednesday, the Collector said that Matla Subhash of Kamalapur mandal centre has been provided with centring equipment, while Nampally Rajender of Shanigaram village was handed over Murrah breed buffaloes and Kanakam Ravinder of Kannur village was given a tractor under the ambitious scheme aimed at economic empowerment of Dalits.
“The Kamalapur mandal was divided into 12 clusters under the Dalit Bandhu scheme which is being implemented as a pilot project in Huzurabad Assembly constituency. A survey to identify the eligible beneficiaries was carried out by 32 members of several teams. We did the survey in a transparent manner and a total of 3,788 beneficiaries had so far got Rs 10 lakhs assured under the scheme deposited in their bank accounts,” Rajeev Gandhi said, adding that the beneficiaries would get the business units as per their wishes and each family of eligible Dalits would definitely get the financial assistance under the Dalit Bandhu scheme.
