Warangal’s SRU shows strong performance in placement season-2026
SR University, Warangal, recorded over 1,500 internship opportunities and strong placements in 2026, with the highest package reaching Rs 44 lakh per annum. Over 1,300 students were placed across leading companies, including Accenture, Cognizant, Amazon and Deloitte.

Hanamkonda: SR University, Warangal has achieved over 1500 internship opportunities, with the highest stipend reaching Rs 1.1 lakh per month and a potential highest package of Rs 44 lakh per annum in the placement season-2026, said Associate Director (Training and Placements) G Sunil Reddy.
This he said at the placement success meet- 2026 held at its campus to celebrate the achievement of graduating students. Over 1300 students have secured placements in leading companies, with the number expected to rise further as several recruitment processes are still underway.
The university showed strong placement performance among major recruiters, including Accenture (254 placements), Cognizant (165) and Capgemini (57) along with opportunities in Virtusa, Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, BNP Paribas and several other reputed organisations.
Students also secured placements across management, core engineering and agriculture sectors in companies such as Amazon, Cisco, Real Page, JP Morgan Chase, Flipkart Neev, IDBI Bank, DeltaX, Quadrant Technologies, Home First Finance, Oasis Automation, Berger Paints, Reliance Brands Limited, Asian Paints, Blue Star, Syngenta, Bayer Crop Science and others, Sunil Reddy informed
Addressing the gathering the SRU Chancellor A Varadha Reddy congratulated students and appreciated the dedicated efforts of the placement team. The success was the result of disciplined preparation and strong institutional support, he said and advised students to keep upgrading their skills, remain adaptable and focus on innovation to stay competitive in the global job market.
The university Vice Chancellor Prof. Deepak Garg said the SRU’s commitment to providing industry-aligned education and experiential learning opportunities resulted in such impressive placements. Students should develop problem-solving abilities, critical thinking and professional ethics to excel in dynamic industries, he suggested.
