Hyderabad: Hyderabad woke up to a cold and foggy morning on Sunday. However, as the day progressed the temperature rose as well. The average minimum temperature in the city was 14.1 degree Celsius, which is at least four degrees less than normal.
According to the forecast by Telangana State Development Planning Society, the temperatures in the city are likely to soar again. In certain localities, such as Alwal, Moosapet, Yousufguda, Amberpet and Gajularamaram, the night temperature might remain around 17 degree Celsius throughout the week.
The India Meteorological Department, Hyderabad, forecast looks at a clear sky with wind speed of around four to six kilometre per hour. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 31 and 18 degree Celsius respectively.
Several northern districts of Telangana witnessed a steep dip in the night temperature on Sunday, with Adilabad recording the lowest minimum temperature of 7.3 degree Celsius. A few areas in Nalgonda and Kamareddy also received light showers on Sunday afternoon, of 7.5 mm and 4.8 mm respectively. The temperatures across the State are likely to soar from Monday.
