Watch: 25-year-old dies of suspected heart attack while playing badminton in Hyderabad

A 25-year-old man, Gundla Rakesh, collapsed and died of a suspected heart attack while playing badminton at Uppal Stadium in Hyderabad. He was rushed to a hospital but declared dead. Rakesh was the son of a former deputy sarpanch from Khammam.

Hyderabad: In yet another instance of youngsters collapsing due to sudden heart episodes while pursuing physical activity, a 25-year-old individual Gundla Rakesh, collapsed and died of a suspected heart attack while playing badminton at one of the indoor courts at Uppal stadium here in Hyderabad.

When his co-players and friends rushed Rakesh to a local hospital, the attending teams of doctors declared him dead.

According to reports, the deceased, who was working in a private company in Hyderabad, was the son of Gundla Venkateswarlu, former Deputy Sarpanch of Tallada, Khammam district.
