The actor turned up at 11.05 am, while his legal team arrived at the police station much earlier

Hyderabad: The usually serene lanes of Ashok Nagar turned into a fortress on Tuesday morning as heavy police deployment surrounded the Chikkadpally police station as actor Allu Arjun appeared before the police questioning in connection with stampede in Sandhya Theatre.

The lanes leading to the police station were heavily barricaded, causing inconvenience to residents here. A large contingent of police personnel have been deployed in the area.

The actor turned up at 11.05 am, while his legal team arrived at the police station much earlier. The actor was issued a notice to appear before the police at 11 am on Tuesday in connection with a stampede incident during screening of ‘Pushpa 2’ in which a 35-year old-woman Revathi died, while her son was injured.
