Hyderabad: One moment of thoughtlessness saw two bikers being hit by a speeding goods carrier at Shabad in Rangareddy district on Friday afternoon.
Police said the mishap occurred when the person riding the bike took a diversion on the road near Nagarguda bus stop without noticing the oncoming goods carrier. The driver of the goods vehicle, which was traveling quite fast, lost control of the steering and hit the bike, throwing both the bike riders off the bike.
They were shifted to a nearby hospital and are being treated for their injuries.
The Shabad police are investigating.
