Mahabubabad: Palakurthy constituency Congress incharge A Jhansi Reddy suffered serious leg injuries while film actress Priyanka Mohan escaped with minor injuries when the stage set up for a commercial establishment opening collapsed at Thorrur on Thursday.
Jhansi Reddy is the mother-in-law of Palakurthy MLA Yashaswini Reddy. The stage had suddenly collapsed, while the Congress leader and the film actress were waving their hands and greeting the crowd.
After preliminary treatment at a local hospital, she was shifted to Hyderabad for better treatment.
