Hyderabad: In a bizarre incident that stunned commuters and raised serious safety concerns, a drunk man believed to be a camel handler was seen riding a camel on the PV Narasimha Rao Expressway, where even two-wheelers are prohibited.
The incident took place on Saturday night when the man, in an intoxicated state, managed to enter the high-speed corridor atop a camel. The animal was galloping at considerable speed and had nearly reached the end of the flyover, posing a significant danger to the rider, the camel, and other motorists.
A group of people in a car, who were traveling on the same flyover, recorded the shocking sequence on video. In the footage, they are seen trying to stop the camel and the rider to prevent a potential mishap. They eventually managed to tie the camel to a light pole to secure the situation.
The video was later uploaded on Instagram by a user Ikram Ullah Shah and quickly went viral, sparking widespread disbelief and debate on traffic safety enforcement and animal welfare.
