Watch: Harish Rao makes the day for village eatery owner

The Minister, who was proceeding to Rachapalli of Illandakunta mandal to take part in an election campaign, stopped his vehicle at the on spotting the eatery.

Karimnagar: Finance Minister T Harish Rao, known for his simplicity and easy association with masses, once again proved it by having breakfast at a roadside eatery at Marivanipalli village on Monday.

The Minister, who was proceeding to Rachapalli of Illandakunta mandal to take part in an election campaign, stopped his vehicle at the on spotting the eatery, got down from the car, walked into the tiffin centre and ordered a Dosa, taking other leaders and workers by surprise. He had his breakfast in the company of other customers. “The dosa tastes good,” Harish Rao told the owner of the eatery, adding that he was aware that the dosa at the eatery was very popular and that people who have parties order for dosas from the tiffin centre.

On seeing the Minister at the eatery and having dosa like any other customer, locals gathered at the tiffin center in big numbers. Caught by surprised at the sudden appearance of Harish Rao in his hotel, the tiffin center owner said he was happy and thanked the Minister for visiting his eatery. He along with family members took a selfie with Harish Rao, who left with a promise that he would return again for a meal.
