Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police have heightened security across the city following the blast in New Delhi on Monday evening.
Intensifying patrolling in busy areas, the police are conducting checks at lodges and hotels to identify suspicious persons.
The Hyderabad police were already on alert in view of the by-election in the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency scheduled for Tuesday.
Senior officials have asked Station House Officers (SHOs) to brief police personnel about the developments in Delhi and remain vigilant.
Cops check TGSRTC cargo service office in Karimnagar
Karimnagar: In the wake of the bomb blast in New Delhi, police conducted checks at the bus stand and other busy areas across Karimnagar town on Monday evening.
Police teams, along with bomb and dog squads, carried out checks at the TGSRTC cargo parcel service office and the bus stand.
The police appealed to the public to alert them by dialling 100 if they notice any suspicious persons or objects.
