Warangal: Amid the high drama at Forest Minister Konda Surekha’s residence and her daughter Konda Sushmitha’s allegations against the Congress government on Wednesday night, the Minister’s husband and former MLC Konda Murali on Thursday pleaded ignorance.
Speaking to mediapersons here, Murali said, “I have no idea about what happened in Hyderabad last night. I also do not know about Konda Surekha’s former OSD Sumanth’s episode.”
He stated that his daughter Sushmitha was subjected to inconvenience and had every right to express her opinion. “She does not hold any position in the Congress party,” he stressed.
Murali clarified that he had no issues with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. “I have no feuds with Revanth anna. In fact, he promised to allot me an MLC post and I am confident he will fulfil the promise,” he said.
He recalled that several controversies had been created against his family in the past. “I never use Konda Surekha’s vehicle or misuse her ministry. If anyone tries to target us, it will be a loss to them. I do not target anyone,” Murali asserted.
