Kothagudem: A KTPS employee was killed in a road accident in Paloncha town of the district on Saturday.
The incident occurred when the 59-year-old employee, K Anjaneyulu, riding on a moped in the wrong route was going to take a u-turn on the main road at Nataraj centre in the town.
A speeding motorbike hit his moped, which dragged the employee nearly 10 metres on the road, killing him on the spot.
Two unidentified persons travelling on the motorbike suffered fractures in the accident and were shifted to a local hospital for treatment. The town police booked a case in connection with the incident.
