Watch: MBBS student from Telangana’s Kagaznagar dies in road accident in Vietnam
A 21-year-old MBBS student from Kagaznagar, Ashrith Arshid, died in a motorcycle accident in Vietnam’s Can Tho City. He succumbed to injuries on the spot. Local MLA Dr Harish Babu is coordinating efforts to repatriate the body
Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A 21-year-old MBBS student from Kagaznagar town died in a road accident in Can Tho City, Vietnam, on Tuesday when the motorcycle he was riding with a friend crashed into a wall.
The deceased, Ashrith Arshid, a third-year MBBS student, was the son of cloth trader Arshid Arjun and Prathima. He had moved to Vietnam three years ago to pursue medical studies.
Ashrith sustained serious injuries and died on the spot, while his friend suffered minor injuries. Overspeeding is suspected to have caused the accident.
Local MLA Dr Harish Babu visited Ashrith’s parents to offer condolences and spoke to Union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy over phone, urging him to facilitate the repatriation of the body to India.
