Watch: Minister Ponguleti humiliates Karimnagar Collector in public, says “Don’t you have common sense?”

Srinivas Reddy expressed anger at the Collector, lashing out at her saying “Don't you have common sense? What are you doing? What is this nonsense? Where is the Superintendent of Police?”

Karimnagar: Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy lashed out at the police and the district Collector, Pamela Satpathy, during Union Minister for Urban Development Manohar Lal Khattar’s programme, held in Karimnagar town on Friday.

While Manohar Lal Khattar was inaugurating the 24×7 water supply system in the housing board colony locality, Minister Ponguleti was pushed aside several times by the police. Enraged over the incident, Srinivas Reddy expressed anger at the Collector, lashing out at her saying “Don’t you have common sense? What are you doing? What is this nonsense? Where is the Superintendent of Police?”

On the other hand, police completely closed the Housing Board locality on the occasion of the Union Minister’s visit. Manohar Lal Khattar addressed a public meeting held in the Housing Board colony mini stadium after inaugurating the 24×7 water supply system in the same locality.

Besides closing various routes in the locality by placing barricades, hotels, kirana stores and other business establishments were closed since morning. The Union Minister also inaugurated multipurpose park, Dr BR Ambedkar stadium complex, and Smart School of Kumarwadi High School. After the completion of the public meeting, he inspected Dumping yard.

Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, local MLA Gangula Kamalar, Karimnagar Mayor Y Sunil Rao and others participated in the programme.
