Watch: Nine cars damaged in pile-up on PVNR Expressway in Hyderabad

A chain collision on PVNR Expressway in Hyderabad left nine cars damaged on Saturday night. Police said sudden braking and poor visibility due to rain caused the accident. Traffic was disrupted before vehicles were towed away with a crane

Hyderabad: Nine cars were damaged in a road accident at PVNR Expressway in the city on Saturday night.

According to information, the driver of a car who was on way towards Aramgarh had applied sudden brake on the expressway following which the car tailing him collided with his vehicle.


The cars that were following the vehicles rammed into one and other. In all, nine cars were badly damaged, leading to traffic slowing down.

The police, with the help of a crane, towed away the vehicles. The accident is attributed to poor visibility due to rain.
