Hyderabad: One person was injured after a speeding car went out of control and crashed into a road median between the metro rail pillars at Madhapur on Wednesday.

Police said when the vehicle, on its way from Banjara Hills towards Hitec City, reached Madhapur, the driver lost control of the steering wheel and crashed into the median. The car further jumped onto the other side with the same speed before coming to halt.

The incident led to traffic jam on the busy road. The Madhapur police are investigating. Efforts are on to identify the car driver, who fled the spot immediately after the incident.
