Watch: Senior advocate injured in suspected hit-and-run at Nampally, probe on

A senior advocate, Khaja Moizuddin, suffered serious injuries in a suspected hit-and-run incident at Nampally in Hyderabad. A CCTV clip shows an SUV hitting him. Police have launched an investigation, while family members suspect a pre-planned attack.

Hyderabad: A senior advocate suffered serious injuries in a suspected case of hit-and-run at Nampally on Saturday.
The injured was identified as Khaja Moizuddin.

The incident occurred when Moizuddin came out of his house and was about to get into the driver’s seat of his car.

In a video clip related to the incident, a SUV came at a high speed and hit Moizuddin. Due to the impact, he flung in the air and fell few meters away on the road. He suffered serious grievous injuries and was immediately shifted to the hospital. He is being treated.

On receiving information, the Nampally police reached the spot and took up investigation. Team visited the hospital.

Meanwhile, Moizuddin’s colleagues and family members suspect it to be pre-planned life attack.

The Nampally police are investigating from all possible angles including an attempt to murder.
