Hyderabad: Protests against the Telangana Congress government over delay in issuing the job calendar and recruitment notifications continued on Sunday. A group of unemployed youth held a flash protest at Ashok Nagar here.

Initially, a group of candidates tried to stage a protest at Ashok Nagar X roads. However, they were chased away by police deployed there.

Later, another group of unemployed youth raised against the government and staged a protest, demanding that the government release recruitment notifications. Police personnel who swung into action took protesters into custody.

This was the fourth such protest by the unemployed youth in the last one week.

Meanwhile, fearing protests by the unemployed youth, the City Central Library in Chikkadpally continued to see heavy police deployment on Sunday.
