Karimnagar: Tanks, rivulets, ponds and other water bodies are overflowing following incessant rains in the last 24 hours in erstwhile Karimnagar district.
While some localities were cut off from the rest of the world following damage to roads, rainwater entered some houses in other areas.
Road connectivity between Bavusaipet-Venkatraopet of Konaraopet mandal of Rajanna-Sircilla district is distributed as the bridge constructed across Mulavagu was damaged.
While rainwater entered into houses in the SC colony of Bavusaipet, the house of one Gadda Mallesham collapsed in Konaraopet. A temporary road constructed to cross Raipallivagu of Yellareddypet mandal was washed away in floodwater.
