Hyderabad: The drinking water supply will be disrupted for 24 hours from 6 am on December 8 in some parts of the city.
The affected areas include Mir Alam, Kishan Bagh, Al Jubail Colony, Santosh Nagar, Vinay Nagar, Saidabad, Chanchalguda, Asmangadh , Yakutpura and Madanapet. The supply will also be disrupted in Riayasath Nagar, Aliabad, Bogulkunta, Afzal Gunj, Narayanguda, Adikmet, Shivam Road, Nallakunta and Chilkalguda.
The areas where water is being supplied through the reserves located in Dilshuknagar, Bongulur and Manneguda will also be affected.
The water supply is being halted to facilitate the construction of a flyover near Owaisi Hospital Junction, informed the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board while requesting people to use water conservatively to avoid inconvenience.
