Water supply to be disrupted for 24 hours in parts of Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Drinking water supply will be disrupted for 24 hours from 6 am on Wednesday in some parts of the city. Hyderabad: Drinking water supply will be disrupted for 24 hours from 6 am on Wednesday in some parts of the city.
The affected areas include Kishan Bagh, Al Jubail Colony in Falaknuma, Madannapet, Chanchalguda, Santosh Nagar, Vinay Nagar, Saidabad, Mir Alam, Yakutpura and Asmangadh. The other areas where supply will be disrupted include Aliabad, Bogulkunta, AfzalGunj, Narayanguda, Chilkalguda, Adikmet, Nallakunta, Riyasath Nagar and Shivam Road.
The supply will also be halted in areas where water is supplied through the reserves located in Manneguda, Dilsukhnagar and Bongulur. The water supply is being halted to facilitate works related to the construction of a flyover near Owaisi Hospital Junction. Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board in a press release requested people to use water conservatively to avoid inconvenience.
