Hyderabad: IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao said possibilities were being explored to commence the Health Profile programme initially in Mulugu and Rajanna Sircilla districts as a pilot project this Sankranti.
As part of the health profile scheme, one village in each district is being identified to take up the project. Under the initiative, residents’ health details, including BP, sugar, urine and other blood test details at the field level.
In case additional details were required in specific cases, such persons would then be taken to the local Primary Health Care Centres or Telangana Diagnostic Centres for further tests.
“We are working to launch the pilot project soon, probably Sankranti,” said Rama Rao while speaking to Telangana Today on the sidelines of 24th National conference on e-Governance, which commenced here on Friday.
The State Cabinet has already taken the decision to conduct a pilot project of the programme in Mulugu and Rajanna Sircilla districts. All the guidelines for implementation of the pilot project have also been finalised.
