Weather to remain dry and hot in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The mercury levels in the city have constantly remained above the normal level for the last two days.

On Friday, the highest maximum temperature recorded was 32.8 degree Celsius, at Monda Market, which is at least 2 degrees higher than the normal. The lowest minimum temperature was also recorded two degrees more than usual.


According to the data collected at the various Automatic Weather Stations of the Telangana State Development Planning Society, the temperature in the city for the next three days is going to be between 31 to 33 degree Celsius in most parts of the city. As no downpours are predicted by the India Meteorological Department, Hyderabad (IMD), the general weather in the city is likely to be dry and hot.

Many districts of Telangana are also witnessing a sudden rise in the temperature.

On Friday, Khammam recorded the highest maximum temperature of 36.5 degree Celsius. As per TSDPS, maximum temperature in the state is expected to be in the range of 32 to 35 degree Celsius. A few districts are also experiencing light showers. On Saturday, Lingal in Nagarkurnool recorded the highest rainfall of 13.5 mm.
