Hyderabad: Though the day started on a bright and sunny note, residents in several parts of Hyderabad were greeted with a drizzle later in the evening.
Several localities in the city including Yousufguda, Begumpet, LB Nagar, Qutbullahpur and Alwal witnessed showers that towards Thursday evening. The sun was overcast since the afternoon, resulting in the temperature across the city to drop. The maximum temperature recorded in the city was 37.1 degree Celsius, near the Charminar area and the minimum temperature recorded in the city was 24.2 degree Celsius, near Kapra.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad has also issued a warning for thunderstorm at isolated places in the State over the next few days.
Lasting till April 24, the thunderstorm will be accompanied with lightning and gusty winds up to 30-40 kmph.
