WebPT, Nirmaan NGO inaugurate sports ground at Sangareddy govt school
This sports facility will directly benefit 230 girl students, providing them with improved opportunities to engage in sports and compete at state and national levels
Hyderabad: In a step towards social responsibility, WebPT Private Limited, Hyderabad, inaugurated a sports ground at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV), RC Puram School, Sangareddy, in collaboration with Nirmaan Organisation, on Thursday.
This sports facility will directly benefit 230 girl students, providing them with improved opportunities to engage in sports and compete at state and national levels, a press release said.
Valluru Kranthi, Sangareddy District Collector, Venkateshwarlu, District Education Officer (DEO), Hazari Shireesha, Telangana Gender & Equity Coordinator, Andrea Facini, CEO of WebPT, Mayur Patnala, Founder and Global CEO of Nirmaan Organisation, and others participated in the event.
Speaking at the inauguration, Valluri Kranthi emphasised the importance of sports facilities for students, highlighting the benefits of physical activity in their overall development.
Andrea Facini underscored the organisation’s commitment to empowering underprivileged students and WebPT’s vision for a better society. He expressed that this initiative, facilitated by Nirmaan, would enable these girl students to explore sports actively, encouraging their potential to become young athletes.
Mayur Patnala noted that students now have access to a dedicated space for playing games such as kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball, and athletics.
