Hyderabad: WhatsApp presented four new features recently, all meant to make chats more engaging and user-friendly primarily. These promises bring about creativity and practical indulgence on the platform and have the audience in mind.

New Photo/Video Camera Effects

Users can now add a bit of flair to their photos and videos shared via 30 fun backgrounds, filters, and effects that are being moved out of video calls into chats, and have fun sprucing their media before they share.

Easily Create Selfie Stickers

Creating stickers that are just selfies has become incredibly easy. Users now have a “Create Sticker” option that allows them to click a selfie or use a pre-existing photo, which is made into a customizable sticker. It is currently being made available on Android, with iOS to follow.

New Sticker Pack Sharing

It is now possible to share sticker packs. Rather than having to send stickers separately, users can now share entire sticker packs with a simple tap to share creative expressions more easily.

Double-Tap to React

Reacting to messages has never been easier and faster. Users can quickly access their most commonly used emojis for reacting by double-tapping on a message to streamline the chat experience.

These updates show WhatsApp’s commitment to providing private and secure means for communication. Feeling encouraged by more features on the horizon, it sets a new bar in regards to interactive digital conversations.
