In addition to this, notification management receives a more robust enhancement in the way “Notify for” would allow users to choose between all the messages or “highlights” like mentions and replies.

Much improvement has happened to event creation. Users will be able to create events in group chats now also within 1:1 chats. Other new features include RSVP options where the user can maybe add a plus one, specify an end time, and pin an event in the chat window.

In the Calls tab, iPhone users can pinch the screen for zooming during video calls, and another great new functionality allows adding more participants to an active 1:1 call from the chat thread. Technical improvements are all working behind the scenes for better and higher quality video calls.
