Hyderabad: The food delivery app Zomato might have certainly bagged more than what it bargained for to convince Icon Star Allu Arjun for this ad commercial. The new commercial, posted by Zomato on its YouTube handle on Friday, is catching up well with netizens.
The hilarious ad features Allu Arjun and actor Subbaraju as the baddie who takes the bashing on the opposite side. Zomato wrote, “Manasu Korithe, Thaggedele! Zomato Open cheyyadame,” – which translates to (If you wish, never back off! Just open Zomato).
The ad opens up in a rather dramatic way in a typical south cinema fight sequence where actors just flew in the air in slow motion.
Here, Allu Arjun lands a punch on Subbaraju as the latter flies up in the air (in slow motion) and gets suspended for a while; this is where both do the major talking.
Subbaraju: Bunny, can you bring me down?
Allu Arjun: Should fly in the air for long time, since it’s South cinema!
Subbaraju: I’m craving for Gongura Mutton. All restaurants get closed by the time I land.
Allu Arjun replies “anything is there for you, a click away” showing him the Zomato app.
There is a reason why it is being liked by netizens. His fans are, of course, happy for makers coming up with such a refreshing ad. Some felt that there couldn’t be a more dramatised version of a commercial than this one from Zomato. The ad scores for its catchy dialogues with the fight sequence in south cinema style making the video go viral on social media.
