Hyderabad: India all-rounder cricketer Hardik Pandya’s life story is a great example of a complete twist of fate. From living in a small matchbox-sized apartment to owning a luxurious property in Mumbai, his life journey has been an extraordinary one.

It is a known fact that the Indian cricketers are paid hefty amounts of money, especially during the IPL. However, Hardik Pandya says he has not forgotten to keep his feet on the ground.

“You need to have a strong head to understand what is happening. And my brother Krunal Pandya and I were very strong-headed, so we were able to accept the fact that money is there, but we make sure we never lift a foot off the ground. It might come across like I am flying and all that, but I know at the end of the day, my foot is always on the ground,” he said in an interview with ‘Cricket Monthly’.

Adding that for him family was always a priority, he shares, “Money is good. It changes a lot of things. I am one of those examples. Otherwise, I would be working at a petrol pump. I am not joking. For me, my family was the priority. I always want to make sure my family has a good life.”
