Hyderabad: A major controversy is brewing in Bollywood after director Sandeep Reddy Vanga shared a strongly worded post on X.
In his post, Vanga wrote, “When I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100% faith. There is an unsaid NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) between us. But by doing this, you’ve ‘DISCLOSED’ the person that you are.” He continued, “Putting down a younger actor and ousting my story?”
He also questioned the actress’s stand on feminism, saying, “Is this what your feminism stands for? As a filmmaker, I put years of hard work behind my craft. You didn’t get it. You won’t get it. You will never get it.” He ended the post with, “Aisa karo… Agli baar poori kahani bolna… kyunki mujhe jarra bhi farak nahi padtha,” and the hashtag #dirtyPRgames.

While no name was mentioned, fans on social media and industry insiders believe there is almost a cent percent chance Sandeep is talking about Deepika Padukone, who was earlier said to be the leading lady of Spirit but later left the project.
The director has now brought in Tripti Dimri to play the lead. Tripti was praised for her role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s blockbuster film Animal and will now star opposite Prabhas in Spirit.
