Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A wild boar that fell into a well at Tiryani mandal centre was rescued by Forest officials and locals after a four-hour effort on Saturday.
Officials said the animal accidentally fell into the well while a forest team was driving away a group of boars that had entered the village, causing panic among residents. Using ropes, the team managed to pull the animal out safely and later released it into the forest.
Earlier, an animal tracker sustained minor injuries when one of the boars attacked him while he was trying to drive the wild animals back into the forest. He was shifted to a hospital for treatment.
