Wild boars hit auto, three injured in Kothagudem
Three persons were injured when wild boars rammed into an auto-rickshaw near Yellandu guest house in Kothagudem on Tuesday. Forest officials treated an injured boar and released it into the nearby forest. Similar animal sightings were reported earlier in the area.

Kothagudem: In an unusual incident, wild boars hit an auto-rickshaw, injuring three persons travelling in the vehicle near the Yellandu guest house at Laxmidevipally mandal in the district on Tuesday.
According to eyewitnesses, four wild boars suddenly ran onto the road and hit the auto-rickshaw, which overturned with the passengers inside due to the impact. One of the wild boars was also injured and the vehicle was damaged in the incident.
On receiving information from the locals, the forest staff rushed to the spot, administered first aid to the injured wild boar at the local veterinary hospital, and released it into the nearby forest. There have been instances of Indian bison appearing on the road in the same area in the past.
