MP BB Patil is inaugurating a Jowar procurement centre at Kalher in Sangareddy district on Thursday
Sangareddy: Zaheerabad MP BB Patil on Thursday asserted that he will remain with Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) till his last breath.
Patil, who inaugurated a jowar procurement centre in Narayankhed, condemned reports carried by some Youtube channels that he would be joining the BJP. “There is no truth in these reports,” he said, adding that he will initiate legal action against such news channels. “I have no differences with any MLA under my Parliamentary constituency, which is spread over Sangareddy and Kamareddy districts,” he said.
Stating that he won the seat with the blessings of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and MLAs of his constituency for a second consecutive term, the MP said that he has worked for equal development of all the seven Assembly segments under his Lok Sabha seat.
Hailing the Chief Minister’s concern for farmers, Patil said that Chandrashekar Rao has asked the marketing department to purchase jowar in Zaheerabad for which the government needs to spend a couple of hundreds crores. Stating that no government was procuring jowar and such huge quantities of paddy, Patil said the Chief Minister had also released Rythu Bandhu though the government had not been able to generate enough revenue in the past one year.
Since Zaheerabad is known for jowar cultivation, he said that he along with MLAs approached the Chief Minister for jowar procurement since farmers could not sell them in the open market, to which the latter readily agreed.
Patil along with Narayankhed MLA Mahareddy Bhupal Reddy inaugurated several jowar procurement centres in Narayankhed Assembly constituency on Thursday.
