Sangareddy: Andole MLA Chanti Kranthi Kiran said Jogipet town will be developed with Rs 25 crore and if needed, additional funds will be sought for developing Anna Sagar into a model mini-tank.
The MLA, who held a meeting with the officials of Andole-Jogipet Municipality on Saturday, said they will spend the Rs 25 crore granted by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao during his visit to the district.
He asked the officials to come up with various proposals to improve the infrastructure and beautification of the town. Saying that they were aiming to beautify the town, Kranthi Kiran said that they were indeed very lucky to have a massive tank-like Anna Sagar on the outskirts of Jogipet town.
He observed that the development of the local tank with a mini tank bund will add beauty to the fast-growing town. Stating that they will build a children’s park, a commercial complex, arrange massive lighting, create one-way traffic flows to ease out the traffic congestion, and others. Later, the MLA has visited Anna Sagar where the mini gym was installed.
